James Dixon

James joined the firm in July 2022 after obtaining a first class degree and completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Leeds.

James is now an Assistant Solicitor at the firm and participates in the firm’s on call rota, representing clients at the police station and Courts regularly.  He has experience dealing with a multitude of offences of all types from driving offences to assault, sexual offences, firearms offences, importation of drugs and robbery.

Notable Cases 

R v. D – secured a Suspended Sentence with no conditions attached for a Client who pleaded guilty to Possession With Intent to Supply Cannabis.

R v. L – secured an acquittal for a Client charged with a domestic Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.

R v. I – Client acquitted of making racially charged threats to a child.

R v. G – Client acquitted of a domestic assault he denied and receive a Community Order for a domestic assault and assault on a PC that he pleaded guilty to.

R v. H – Client acquitted in the Crown Court of a charge or rape and a charge of attempted rape.
