Serena Ranklin

Serena was called to the Bar in October 2023 and was formally published as a Barrister by The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

Previously, Serena was employed as a Criminal Legal Adviser with the Ministry of Justice, where she played a pivotal role in advising Magistrates on complex matters of law, practice, and procedure. Serena was trusted to independently manage courtroom proceedings, ensuring efficient and fair administration of justice.

Serena’s academic achievements reflect her dedication to Criminal Law. She obtained a Law (LLB) degree from Manchester Law School, and subsequently pursued a Master’s in Law (LLM), further complementing her legal knowledge. In parallel, she completed the Barrister Training Course.

Currently, Serena is employed an Assisting Lawyer working closely with both Leading and Junior Counsel on complex, multi-defendant cases, including an international pension fraud investigation.
